Abigails B&B \ Accommodation in Still Bay

Welcome to Abigail’s B&B situated in Stilbaai, on the famous Garden Route in the Southern Cape. The warm Indian Ocean washes onto miles of unspoilt, brilliant white sandy beaches on both sides of the navigable river estuary. This provides ideal conditions for bathing, water sports of every conceivable kind and endless romantic walks.

Abigail’s B&B is a beautiful and luxurious 4 star bed & breakfast, owned by Eveleen Nel. Airy, light and elegant, Abigail’s B&B offers beautiful views of Still Bay and the Goukou River, that mouths into the Indian Ocean. Our comfortable guest lounge is available for watching TV.

Accommodation

Abigail’s B&B has three rooms and are all upstairs. Each room with en-suite bathroom, offers the following: hairdryer, safe, fan, heater, television with limited DSTV channels, bar-fridge, bathrobes & tea tray.

Room 1
Honeymoon Room is a spacious room with double bed and jacuzzi.

Room 2
Balcony Room offers 2 single beds and corner bath.

Room 3
Executive Room is a spacious room with double bed, lounger and twin showers.

Regrettably no children. All the rooms are non-smoking. No credit card facilities. Although we love our pets, this establishment cannot facilitate any pets.

Breakfast

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your choice of three of Still Bay’s local coffee shops. La Donna, Lilliput and Breakfast @ Tiffany’s are all within a comfortable walking distance. You will receive a meal voucher and for your convenience their menu’s and trading hours are available for viewing at the guest house.

Activities and Attractions

Abigail’s B&B is situated near and within walking distance to all the amenities, doctors, dentists, restaurants, coffee shops and an internet café, with fax and administrative services. A five minute drive to the beach on the western side, where the Goukou river flows into the sea, is ideal for surfing, fishing, whale watching between July and October or simply relaxing all year round. The Blue Flag beach on the eastern side of Still Bay, with lifeguards from December to March, is only a ten minute drive from the B&B.

If you're looking for long, long stretches of unspoilt beaches in the Garden Route, you'll find them in Still Bay. Float down the river on your back and listen to the seagulls overhead. Walk through the fynbos and only hear the waves breaking down below. Watch the whales from the harbour wall. Amongst other things, the beautiful seaside town of Still Bay has a nine hole golf course, tennis court, lawn bowls, walking trails, bird watching, & ancient fish traps.
