Between 1998 and 2001, Braam van Straaten, the developer and owner of Clouds End Boutique Guest House & Spa, thrilled the international rugby community with his prolific goal kicking whilst playing flyhalf for the South African premier rugby team, the Springboks. The setting and décor in Clouds End revives the special moments and fond memories of his career and reflects his commitment to host you with taste, personal touch and warm hospitality.

This modern yet homely guest house in Glentana overlooks the blue waters of the Indian Ocean and offers an exceptional and peaceful stay. It is a mere 10 minute drive from George Airport and is 20 minutes from both George and Mossel Bay. Airport transfers are available on request.

The social area includes, amongst others, a tasteful and luxurious dining room, braai and pizza den, pool deck with heated swimming and kiddies pool, a cozy lounge and library with fireplace, wireless hotspot and Amazon Spa. All these facilities will contribute to an unforgettable stay.

ACCOMMODATION

The guest house offers 12 en-suite rooms each equipped with air-conditioning, DSTV, a mini-bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, five star amenities and secure covered parking. Each one is aptly named after the major rugby stadiums that Braam played at throughout his professional career. All of the suites face the ocean and have private balconies from which you can enjoy spectacular sunsets.

Our elegant and luxurious honeymoon suite is equipped with amenities of the highest standards, with a private garden and parking. It is situated away from the rest of the house to ensure privacy and has been designed to make your stay with us a truly memorable occasion.

THE AMAZON SPA

Experience tropical rain-forest mudpacks and personal treatments emphasizing the therapeutic trilogy of rejuvenation, detoxification and healing. We also offer massaging and beauty products.

CONFERENCES & WEDDINGS

Our conference centre provides for all the necessary modern conferencing facilities and is furnished with Oakwood tables and luxury chairs with good lumber support. Our conference equipment includes a large white screen, television, CD and DVD, overhead projector, flip charts with pens and white boards with pens. Proxima is available at additional charge.

The facility accommodates up to 22 persons boardroom style and up to 35 persons cinema style. Intimate Garden Route Weddings, product launches, braais, breakfasts and birthdays parties are hosted in and around the dining room and pool deck.
