The Buttercup \ Accommodation in Still Bay

Eveleen invites you to Stilbaai, a charming seaside village, just off the N2 between Riversdale and Albertinia and welcomes you at The Buttercup Beachfront Guest House, Still Bay. The Buttercup is a four star guest house, with four rooms, on the beachfront where the Goukou River meets the Indian Ocean.

Accommodation

Feel truly spoilt with a delicious breakfast, whilst enjoying the beautiful river and ocean views. Upstairs, the two luxurious en-suite bedrooms share a lounge with cozy fireplace and balcony. Downstairs are another two en-suite bedrooms with kitchenette, lounge and patio. All bedrooms contain the following: a beach basket with towels, umbrella and beach chairs; bath robes; safe; tea tray and hairdryers. Picnic baskets are available on request.
Rooms

THE BLUE ROOM
Situated upstairs, with a double bed, shower and own entrance onto balcony with views over the river and sea. Shared lounge with fireplace, small library, limited DSTV and bar fridge.

THE GREEN ROOM
Is situated upstairs, with twin or king size beds and full en-suite bathroom, own entrance onto balcony with views over river mouth and sea. Shared lounge with fireplace, small library, limited DSTV and bar fridge.

THE BEIGE ROOM
Situated downstairs, with double bed, full bathroom and a separate toilet. Room has own entrance leading out onto outside patio, with views over river mouth and sea. Room also has a TV and bar fridge.

THE DELUXE ROOM
Situated downstairs, with twin or king size beds, full en-suite bathroom, own entrance leading onto patio, with views over river mouth and sea. The room also has a lounge, kitchenette and safe.

Attractions and Activities

Because of its location, the Buttercup guest house is ideal for whale watching from the patio. The popular surfing and kite surfing spots, as well as the harbour area is within a short walking distance. Situated close by are fishing spots, walking trails, bird watching and ancient fish traps.

Other amenities that Stilbaai offer are tennis, bowls, a nine hole golf course, restaurants, doctors, dentists, supermarkets, clothing stores, décor shops, books and stationary shops, antique shops, gifts and sports shops, butcheries and bakeries, laundromats, a hardware store, and a petrol station.

Situated on the coast of the Southern Cape, Still Bay is a beautiful seaside resort known for its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Together with nearby Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein, the area attracts people from all over the country, especially during the warm dry summer months. Visitors are offered wide open spaces, a tranquil river, white sandy beaches and the weather in which to enjoy it all – moderate days and still, languid evenings.

Notes

Regrettably, no children. Smoking is limited to the outside areas and no credit card facilities available. Although we love our pets, this establishment can not facilitate any pets.
