The Dunes Hotel & Resort \ Accommodation in Keurboomstrand

The Dunes Resort is located in the heart of the Garden Route right on the Keurbooms beach with private access to the public beach. The Dunes is a well located and comfortably luxurious hotel and conference venue within ten minutes of the premier holiday town of Plettenberg Bay and approximately 70 minutes from George which is the closest airport and about two and a half hours from Port Elizabeth.

Accommodation

We offer 42 hotel rooms which include two family rooms as well as 16 luxury self catering duplexes which can be enquired about per email. A lovely deli restaurant will provide various options for meals and there are child caring facilities on the grounds and a hair salon and games room will keep the whole family happy.

Our hotel room rates are very competitive compared to hotels of similar standard and include breakfast and with 42 rooms, we are happy to welcome groups depending on availability. If any guest or company have a special request, they are welcome to contact us and we will gladly do our best to see how we can accommodate them.

Hotel Facilities

The resort has two lovely and large swimming pools, a games room that will keep any active children busy, Deli restaurant and private access to the public beach. Those who don’t wish to explore the area could very easily spend their days enjoying the sunshine and weather of summer while enjoying the cosy comfort in winter. Guests can also look forward to a new spa within the not too distant future. The Dunes Resort is also very child friendly and is perfect for those of us who enjoy seeing their children running around free and happy.

Conferencing

The Dunes Resort is able to accommodate conferences in our first floor conferencing venue. The conference room is located on the first floor and is able to accommodate up 100 people for a dinner dance event and for conferencing we can accommodate up to 120 people in cinema style seating. The conference room is large but can easily and comfortably accommodate smaller group. Restaurant facilities and catering can also be provided for.

The Dunes has ample parking within our large car park The Dunes Restaurant can be roped in for catering and cocktail functions afterward. The Dunes resort can also arrange for activities located in the area as a part of the conferencing.

Wedding Venue

The Dunes is able to provide two wedding venues. Our large first floor conferencing venue can be turned into a lovely wedding venue with a nearby dance venue with balcony. The dance venue and event room are not attached but a few meters from each other. The dance venue can itself be turned into a small wedding venue with a balcony that can be easily turned into a lovely dance floor.

Activities and Attractions

The hotel and resort is located on Keurbooms road and is conveniently located close to Plettenberg Bay, various golf courses in the area, the Bloukrans Bungee jump, the crags and various other attractions that have given the garden route the reputation it has. We at The Dunes Resort have also negotiated special rates at many of the activities in the area for our guests with more information on this available at the resort.
