Wight Mischief is the first house on Robberg Beach close to the Beacon Island Hotel. The property offers magnificent 270 degree views of the sea, beach and surrounding mountain range, including the Robberg Nature Reserve.

The House

The fortress-like railway sleeper wood door opens onto the double volume entrance hall complete with antique tables and sofas with spectacular views of the Lookout rocks and mountains beyond. A few steps down from the entrance hall is the pub / bar room, with a cozy fireplace. This room opens out onto a deck extending the length of the house, providing magnificent views and access to private boardwalk to the beach. The deck, just 20 metres from the beach, is ideal for marine life watching and entertaining.

The rim-flow swimming pool with direct views out to the sea, Koi fish pond and raised garden can also be accessed from the pub. Another few steps down past the guest toilet are the 4th and 5th bedrooms. One level above the entrance is the spacious open plan lounge which has the most commanding views of Plettenberg Bay complete with fire-place and plush sofas.

Well designed and equipped maple and granite kitchen and dining-room with locally sourced 10 seater hard pear wood suite leads from lounge area as does the master bedroom and further guest toilet. The dining area can be extended through sliding doors where another 6 seater wrought iron dining set features on the large patio / balcony with built in braai, this overlooks Central beach, lagoon and mountains.

MAIN BEDROOM (TOP LEVEL)
Imperial size bed, walk in dressing room and en suite bathroom (spa with jets and hand shower and separate shower, toilet and bidet). Opens onto small balcony with full views, ideal for watching the majestic sunrise. The en-suite bathroom also opens onto a balcony, with seating area and small English garden, overlooking the downstairs garden with water features.

BEDROOM 2 (ENTRANCE LEVEL)
Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom, (bath with hand shower, separate shower, toilet) leading out into garden, overlooking rim flow pool, with sea views.

BEDROOM 3 (ENTRANCE LEVEL)
Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom, (bath with hand shower, separate shower, toilet, leading out into garden, overlooking pool area with sea views.

BEDROOM 4 and 5 (BOTTOM LEVEL)
Two separate sleeping areas at the entrance to the downstairs area, adjacent to the guest toilet is bedroom 4 fitted with 2 single beds with eye-level views of the sea. This opens into a large bedroom also fitted with 2 single beds (these beds can be zipped together to be made up as a king), plus a fold-out double sleeper couch. The bathroom for bedroom 5 is accessed from the bedroom directly through interleading laundry room.

• Koi pond: 1 metre deep with 50 Koi fish. Fed and maintained by retainer maid.

• Telephone and fax facilities are available, levied at current Telkom rates.
• Under floor heating in first floor and bar level.
• Built-in barbeque (braai) situated upstairs on the balcony off the dining-room area, and off the kitchen overlooking the courtyard, which is shielded by the wind.

• Outside courtyard off the deck with a beach shower and cutting block for the keen fisherman.
• Property is secured with electric fence, access to property via remote / electric gates, with entire house fitted with alarm system.
• Garden is well maintained with water features to welcome you.

• Mandatory retainer maid excluded from the rental, contracted to work 7 days a week from 09h00 to 17h00.
